Today

I finished "Further Tales of the City" today and started on "Babycakes". Apart from that, nothing at all happened at work! Luckily I have just one more shift to go before I have 4 days off. Unfortunately, I will be at my sisters' for one of those days. That sounds aweful, I do love my family, but I treasure my days off (even though I do nothing with them lately), especially after working 9 out of ten days in a row, 12 hours at a time!

Re your question the other day: my partner was in a play called 'Death and Dancing' by Claire Dowie at the Drill Hall (which is designated 'Off-West End' by that self-congratulating organ Time Out - pardon my snort of contempt), Chenies St opp Goodge St tube, he and I actually work there regularly - the theatre usually commissions me to write the play and Mark will then appear in it, as he says, if you want to stay in work as a performer, sleep with the writer :)

"Off-West-End" is a bit harsh isn't it? You could probably sneeze further!
I really wish that I went to the theatre more often, I think the last time was about 4 years ago ("Mother Clap's Molly House"). I had heard of the Drill Hall, but never paid much attention to it, I will keep an eye on it now as "Death and Dancing" looked interesting and they currently have "Bitch Slapped by God"

Do you just write plays, or do you stray into other media?
