I have finally heard from work as to my fate, after my disciplinary hearing on Monday. I was meant to hear yesterday, and stayed in most of the day waiting. The email was finally sent at 14:51 this afternoon to tell me that, despite an unblemished record previously I am dismissed immediately without notice. Thanks for nothing ISS!
I'm not surprised, but it has still left me a bit shellshocked. It really doesn't pay to be a hard-working good guy some times!
I now have to focus on my job applications. I will phone the one I have arranged for 1st November and see if I can rearrange it for next Thursday now. That is if they will still take my application now I've been sacked! Wish me luck.
It's not all bad news today though. Kevin took Frankie back to the vet today and pleaded poverty with them and they are getting the treatment payed by charity, so he should be perfectly fine within a few weeks. So fingers crossed for the Cat in the Flat!

So sorry to hear that. I know it probably doesn't feel like it at the moment but I think this is bit of a blessing in disguise. From what you'd said on your many previous posts it didn't sound as you enjoyed the job much and the managers were taking you for a ride. I'm sure there's something much better out there and worthy of your talents.
