I've just watched my boy Jake Gyllenhaal on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and I thought he coped with Jonathan's creepy style very well. He managed to show he has a great sense of humour. He looked great, and that is saying something considering he was sporting a full beard and he managed to cope with Peter Andre and Katie Price, their commonness, and with the swearing. The only issue I had, which probably isn't his fault. He was asked, by Jonathan, if he was single. He then asked if this was for the ladies or for the men, and then went on to say for the ladies he is single and for the men he isn't. I guess that he is sick of speculation about his sexuality, whatever that sexuality may be, though it did annoy me slightly. But, it's Jake, so I got over it very quickly. And, hey, if I was picky I could take it to mean that he wasn't interested in the ladies, but had a male partner already which is why he wasn't available for the guys! But that's just in my head!
I was disappointed that they only showed a short clip of Rendition, his latest film. Though they did show a clip of him in Brokeback, and of him in his first film City Slickers (he was even cute as a kid).
