Who's On-Line Now?

Socialising

I went out last night for drinks with no plans to meet up with anyone (like that is something new!). I started off in Rupert Street and stayed in there for most of the night as it was busy and there were some nice guys there. I got a few "hellos" from some but that was about all I did get. Then a friend did turn up, it was John the paramedic who I haven't seen for ages. He is a good looking guy who wanted more than friendship and for some reason I didn't want it at the time, but I am tempted now. I never figured out if the guy he was with was his boyfriend though (I don't think so though as he would have introduced him as such). Alfredo also turned up, though I didn't get talking to him last night until I was in Barcode. We chatted and then for some reason that I never clarified he spat his drink out over my white t-shirt. I later abandoned him and headed downstairs to have a cruise around. While I was down there I saw my "nemesis" Wayne and he was surprisingly nice to me for a change. I gave my number to a couple, Marcel and Stuart, who I wasn't really into though I can't remember why. I came home alone and though I was tempted I avoided going to Chariots.

Today I was debating whether to go to the Steelers match or not as it seemed to be good weather. I eventually decided that I should go, with the intention of going to the gym afterwards. When I left home the sun was out and there was no wind, unfortunately, by the time I got to West Ham this was not the case.
The match wasn't particularly good, I had missed kick off as the wrong time had been posted on Facebook. The Steelers eventually lost by a considerable amount. As the match was finishing the "chairman" (I think) of the club introduced himself to me and invited me to the clubhouse for a drink. I was glad to accept, as making new friend was part of the reason why I joined as a supporter in the first place.
I was introduced to quite a few people, most of whose names I have forgotten, but I wasn't introduced to the good looking people, with maybe one exception. I stayed for 3 pints and had a good time, feeling relaxed in the end, before making my way home.
I hope that today is the first day of many more sociable ones to come.
Gym tomorrow!
