I saw a story yesterday on the BBC News site about a wheelchair user in Michigan whose wheelchair handles got caught in the grill on the front of a lorry and was taken on a 50mph ride for about 4 miles. The driver was eventually stopped and initially refused to believed the story until he saw the man himself.
Luckily the wheelchair user was kept in his seat by a seatbelt and was unhurt, the only mishap being his spilt soda and the fact that the tires on his wheelchair needing to be replaced after they had worn down severely during his "thrill ride." I so wish that this had been caught on CCTV somewhere as I would be in histerics to see it.
