Today was an overtime day that I did as a favour to my manager. I wasn't expecting to be working with him though, that's never a good thing especially on weekends, as he doesn't do anything and he always goes home early. Today was no exception, and he left around about midday!! My other colleague and I had to stay until 20:00 with nothing but 3 patrols to do.
I was so bored. My manager thinks that I should be content with getting a pay rise. Don't get me wrong I am really glad to finally be earning a semi-decent wage after a year of struggling, but I would rather stay on the same money doing a job I enjoyed that actually involved me having to think. I really need to come up with a plan for getting out of there.
