I just saw a story on Sky News about a group of student from Oxford University who took part in an event called "Trashing" which basically involved attacking fellow students in the streets of Oxford after their exams and basically causing a public disturbance and nuicance. Now I have nothing against this, it's all a bit of fun, but you accept the risk of being caught by the police or found out by the University and fined!
There was a silly girl on the news, who I don't want to name in case it gives her more publicity or gets her knickers in more of a twist. She was moaning that the university had seen pictures of her and others taking part in the "Trashing" and they have fined her because of it! If she is stupid enough to post pictures of her committing this "crime" then she should accept the consequences.
Facebook is a public site unless you alter your settings to restrict access to your information to your friends. If she didn't want just anyone to see these pictures then she should either have altered her settings or not published them. Alternatively she could have been a responsible person and not made a menace of herself in the first place.
