Christopher Rice
Christopher Travis Rice is an American author born on 11th March 1978 in Berkeley, California. He is the son of noted author Anne Rice and poet Stan Rice. His aunt Alice Borchardt is also a writer.
Rice is a graduate of Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, Louisiana and went on to study at Brown University and New York's Tisch School of Arts, though he did not graduate from either, instead moving to Los Angeles, where he currently lives, to write screenplays. Although he briefly moved back to New Orleans to care for his mother after she slipped into a diabetic coma though she later recovered and moved to Los Angeles to be nearer to her son.
He has had three best-selling thriller novels so far: A Density of Souls, The Snow Garden, and Light Before Day and is currently on a book tour to promote his new book, Blind Fall.
In addition to his books, Rice writes a regular feature for the Advocate called Coastal Disturbances.
