Once again I have completely wasted a day of my holiday by doing nothing of importance or interest.
I took a walk to King's Cross and popped into the British Library to have a browse around the books there, but was unaware that you had to provide i.d. and tell them what books you want, just to get into the reading rooms! I also don't think that it was quite what I was expecting as the directories on each floor didn't seem to indicate very many subjects for the reading rooms to contain. I had visions of it being like The Library in Dr Who [Silence in the Library / Forest of the Dead] with copies of every single book ever. Maybe it has, but just not as accessible as I wanted.
I had planned to go to King's College Hospital to visit Tim in his new ward, but never got around to it. When I got back from the Library, at about 13:00 I had some lunch while re-watching last night's Torchwood, and then fell asleep on my bed. I woke at about 17:00 and really didn't feel like battling through the rush hour to get to the hospital for a ten minute visit. I'll try and get there tomorrow, if he is up for a visit.
So all I have really done today is watch Neighbours, Home & Away and Torchwood. Oh well. There is always tomorrow, though I can't see me doing much tomorrow either. I'm fed up of doing everything on my own.
