Tim Latest

I have just returned from visiting Tim this afternoon. I was a bit hesitant about visiting today as he hadn't wanted any visitors on Wednesday and I wasn't sure if he would be overwhelmed with them today. When I got there though it was just him and Niall. I don't think Niall really wanted anyone else to be there, but to be honest, it wasn't as if visitors mattered at all, he was more interested in the fact that he was unable to get internet access on the hospital system that supposedly offered it. The interface just kept telling him "Coming Soon." He is still a little confused and so wasn't quite sure if this meant later today, tomorrow or next week. He settled down eventually once he was able to get through to the helpdesk and they told him 2 weeks. I think this was just a number to get him off the phone because, and to prove that Tim is almost back to normal, he was going all around the houses trying to ask the questions that he wanted (For those of you who don't know Tim, he always uses a 20 word sentence when most people would use 5!). It was reassuring to see this, though frustrating as it always is with Tim's sometimes unnecessarily long-winded conversations. He was still confused about some things though, at one point when I'd just arrived he said that it was Friday, but then five minutes later thought that it was Thursday. I asked if he had seen Torchwood at all and he said he had caught a bit of it, but then described a story that bore no resemblance to the real story this week. (Something about Annette Crosbie being a madam in a Victorian brothel and being responsible for the death of Mickey Smith! I hope he hasn't given away a future story line!).
He made me cry laughing at one point when he was talking to one of the doctors doing her rounds. He was explaining how he didn't want to be moaning all the time to the nurses etc, and how the other guy in his room certainly didn't want to listen to Tim's moaning in his last dying hours. Again, if you don't know Tim, he has a tendency to talk in a very loud voice, which he did while he was saying this too. As far as I was aware the guy wasn't actually dying so I was glad to see he was asleep at this point and hadn't heard Tim! I couldn't stop crying with laughter for a while at that.
I stayed for just over an hour and left when Tim said that he wanted to get some sleep. Niall left at the same time.
All in all he is still getting better, though his confusion was a bit upsetting at times, and very frustrating. I've not decided if I am going to visit tomorrow yet. Being the weekend there will probably be a lot more people able to visit him and I don't want to overwhelm him again. I'm sure he won't miss me being there, although I won't be able to visit again for about 2 weeks what with work and my trip to Torquay! I'll decide tomorrow.
