Tim Update

I have spoken to Richard this afternoon and there is no real change in Tim's condition as yet, not that we were really expecting it. The doctors are reducing his sedatives to try and bring him around to find out the full extent of the damage. Richard was apparently slightly freaked when Tim's eyes were partially open, but I presume that is an unconscious act.
I finally managed to get in touch with Niall and gave him the bad news. He said that he would leave work immediately and head over to the hospital. I hope that there is no confrontation between him and Richard and that there is no embarrassment over Niall's "status" as Tim's boyfriend, considering he hadn't been mentioned beforehand.
Thanks Tim for making your private life so damn complicated. Now wake up so we can all have a go at you!!
Today I've also remembered another friend of ours, Paul, who should be informed and tried to phone him. He didn't answer however, so I had to leave a message for him to call me back. He and Tim used to be very close (I can't remember if it was a relationship or not, but very close). Neither I nor Tim see Paul very often now, formerly through him working when we are out, and now because Paul is unemployed and doesn't go out hardly at all. But he would definitely want to know, and want to go and see Tim. I hope that he phones soon.
I also received a call from my friend Dean in Australia, who met Tim quite a few times when he was living over here. He just wanted to make sure that I was okay, but the connection from Melbourne to here is never good and that topped with my emotions meant that I didn't talk to him for very long.
I feel like I should be at the hospital, but know that there are lots of people there anyway and there is nothing I could do really. I feel a bit useless at the moment.
