Tim - Further Update

I went to see Tim at the hospital again today. I really can't believe the rapid progress that he is making it is amazing.
I had to wait about 20 minutes for the visitors who were in there when I arrived to come out. It was Richard and Paul. They came out just after Tim's brother James and his friend Sarah arrived. Paul was quite upset, as this was the first time he'd been in to see Tim, as he cares a lot for Tim (as we all do) and because being in the ward reminded him of a time in his past.
I went in to see Tim on my own and, as soon as I got to the bed, he opened his eyes and said hello, asked how I was, was pleased to see me and we had a good conversation. He told me how he was embarrassed that everyone on Facebook now knows how stupid he was to climb up his building (and even more stupid to fall!), was grateful for all the visits and kind words and wishes, and how he was annoyed at having missed the whole weekend! He also said that he was really bored. I reminded him that he would be moving to another ward soon and he should be able to watch the new series of Torchwood which is starting tomorrow, so he is now looking forward to that.
After about 5 minutes though he tired and I could make out everything he was saying, then he went to sleep. After about a minute though he woke again, saw I was there and apologised for falling asleep. I told him not to be silly and to go back to sleep as he needs the rest.
I was beaming as I walked out of the ward. Each day is astounding me with how much he is recovering. Richard and Paul had gone to the pub, so I joined them as James and Sarah went in. They joined us at the pub a little while later and said that the head nurse had asked to pass the word around that they need to reduce the amount of visits as Tim isn't getting much rest, which he obviously needs. So I will not be visiting him until Wednesday now, he is having an operation on his leg on Tuesday anyway, so Wednesday seems like a good day to go back in.
James and Sarah had to drive back to Hereford tonight, but Richard, Paul and I stayed in the pub for a couple more. We left at about 19:00.
