Eh?

Last night's shift was not a good one, but only because it dragged. I was working with a new guard who is from Nigeria originally. His accent is quite thick and so I, and the other guards, have real trouble understanding what he is saying. I eventually gave up last night and just kept nodding and smiling in what I thought were the right places. I have to endure this for 3 more nights before I get my regular working partner back on Wednesday night. He is far from perfect either, being a know-it-all sci-fi geek. Yes, I am a sci-fi geek too, but I don't profess to know every single detail of every sci-fi film, television series, comic, cartoon and book! He does, and goes on in great detail describing the whole story of each, even if you know it! Roll on Thursday morning and my 4 days off! I really need a new job!
