Today at the Beijing Olympics Team GB gained even more medals. The rush of metal into our coffers is slowing but seems far from finished yet.
We won gold in the Men's Star sailing with Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson today.
This victory was followed by a silver from David Davies in the Men's 10km marathon swim and a silver for Phillips Idowu in the Men's Triple Jump.
A mistake by Craig Pickering in the final leg of the Men's 4 x 100m relay heats meant that Team GB would not be in the final, despite finishing second, we were disqualified for handing over the baton outside of the designated area. Such a shame and I feel really sorry for Craig, although it is a schoolboy mistake. I'll let him off because he is cute. If it is any consolation, he wasn't the only one to make a mistake as the USA's women's team dropped the baton.
