Olympic update

I have just risen from my pit and had a shower, yes I know it is late but I could not get to sleep last night with all the money stress going through my head. Anyway, I've just checked how we are doing in the Olympics, as I knew today would be a good day for us with a good chance of a few golds. Wow, so far today we have 4 gold medals, 1 silver and 4 bronze, fantastic eh? I also thought that the sailing finals were today, in which we are guaranteed at least 2 silvers, but that is tomorrow now (I think). Amazing performance by Team GB. The medal winners are:
GOLD
Bradley Wiggins in the men's individual pursuit cycling
Chris Hoy in the men's Keirin cycling
Tom James, Steve Williams, Peter Reed and Andrew Triggs-Hodge in the men's coxless four rowing
and Rebecca Adlington in the women's 800m freestyle swimming
SILVER
Ross Edgar in the men's Keirin cycling
BRONZE
Anna Bebington and Elise Laverick in the women's double sculls rowing
Matthew Wells and Stephen Rowbotham in the Men's double sculls rowing
Chris Newton in the men's cycling points race
and Steven Burke in the men's individual pursuit cycling
We are putting in amazing performances in the cycling and rowing as always I wish we could excell at all our other sports too, but who knows, the rest of Team GB could surprise us, and there is always the sailing to come too! Britannia does seem to rule the waves still, at least sometimes!
