Going Downhill

Things at work are getting really bad. Everyone is getting really fed up with the way that the place is being managed. The building and security managers are constantly enforcing strict rules which the security manager himself fails to follow. This makes the rest of the security force very restless. For example:
We obviously have to be smart and in uniform while we are at work, whereas the security manager rarely wears a full uniform, almost never wears a tie (often having his shirt undone to the third button), wears his own leather and canvas boots, and is always on the computer for personal reasons. He also always books his driving lessons during work time and leaves early on these and many other occassions. He comes in late nearly every shift and also has slept in the building several times while drunk. Very professional eh?
Along with the fact that he is very childish when it comes to manning the site, i.e. if someone has upset him (by calling in sick or rearranging shifts too often) he cancels their overtime or moves their shifts around to inconvenience them, or takes them off of supervisor duties. It is all very annoying.
So, it comes as no surprise that many of the security force are looking to leave this site, myself included.
I personally want to move because I am fed up with security: being treated like a servant, 12 hour-plus shifts EVERY day, night shifts and also because of the incompetent management. I would like a nice office job, or to work from home. I don't mind long days, 12 hour shifts are fine, I just don't want to do it every single working day.
I have 2 weeks off coming up in the middle of September and I think I will use it to focus my attempts on finding another job. Wish me luck eh?
