Today has been another good day for Team GB at the Beijing Olympics. We have another 4 golds, 3 silvers and a bronze. Brilliant. Today's heros are:
Sarah Ayton, Sarah Webb and Pippa Wilson won gold in the Yngling class sailing.
Zac Purchase and Mark Hunter got gold in the Men's lighweight double sculls rowing.
Handsome Ben Ainslie got gold in the Finn class sailing.
Rebecca Romero also got gold in the women's Individual Pursuit cycling.
David Florence got silver in the men's slalom c-1 canoeing
Debbie Flood, Katherine Grainger, Frances Houghton and Annie Vernon won silver in the Quadruple Sculls rowing.
Wendy Houvenaghel got silver in the women's Individual Pursuit cycling.
and the Men's rowing eight won silver, the team being Richard Egington, Alastair Heathcote, Matthew Langridge, Tom Lucy, Acer Nethercott, Alex Partridge, Colin Smith, Tom Stallard and Josh West.
And finally our bronze medal went to Louis Smith in the Men's Pommel Horse, our first medal in the individual gymnastics events at the Olympics in 100 years. Good on you Louis, and he is only 19!
Team GB is currently 3rd in the medal table, which is a brilliant achievement, but I don't know how many more chances we have at medals so we best make the most of this possition.
