Even more great news from Team GB at the Beijing Olympics.
Four more gold medals coming from:
Paul Goodison in the Men's Laser class sailing.
Victoria Pendleton won another in the Women's sprint cycling.
Chris Hoy won his third in the Men's sprint cycling.
Christine Ohuruogu won a slightly surprising gold in the Women's 400m in the athletics.
We also gained two more silvers:
Jason Kenny gained silver in the same race that Chris Hoy gained gold, the Men's sprint cycling.
And our second came in the Men's high jump from Germaine Mason.
What more can I say, but I am so impressed with the performance by Team GB so far, especially the cyclists, sailors and rowers. We will gain possibly a few more medals but I think we have peaked. I just hope that London 2012 will be even more successful, and that the home advantage works for us.
At the moment we are still 3rd place in the overall medals table. We are now 5 gold ahead of Australia in 4th, and now only 2 medals behind them overall. I just wonder where we will end up.
