Oh, FUCK Andrew Sullivan, and FUCK his birthdate. Pompous little git who was ra-ra jingoistic for Bush's illegal Iraqi invasion and occupation, a snivelling little apologist for the catholic "church", and an arrogant pain in the ass on each and every tv appearance he makes, most egregiously on the Bill Maher Show; I watched appalled as Sullivan actually bullied and talked over other guests (even the odd few who DO agree with the little cunt). I listened to him some years ago at A Different Light bookstore in West Hollywood, in the company of my boyfriend (who is from Hawaii), and we were rolling our eyes as Saint Andrew deigned to tell us about the Hawaii Marriage Project as if he were the only man in the world who'd offered the Project his support - not even dimly realising that his large, bemused audience was comprised of, amongst others, a number of men who had long been involved in the Hawaii Marriage Project (which was what started the whole Gay Marriage Ball rolling in the United States). The most irritating thing about Sullivan is his accent, a sort of mid-Atlantic affected Americanese - I can assure you, having lived in the US for 20 years, that it's actually very difficult to lose a native English accent, as I, and any number of expat. friends, can testify, without putting some serious effort into "sounding" American. Sod Sullivan. He's a poisonous little neocon who now wants us all to know how bad he feels about the Iraqi occupation. Too bad the arrogant prick couldn't (wouldn't) listen before the whole ghastly debacle got underway - which it did with the foul blessing of moral bankrupts like him. Ahhhhh. I feel better now. Hope Sullivan doesn't though. There aren't enough Ave Marias in the deep dark cosmos to absolve him from his support for the slaughter in Iraq.

Iain, I hope you feel better now after that! I don't know much about Andrew Sullivan, but unfortunately, even if I did, I decided to put all known LGBT people in the public eye on my lists, even pricks and serial killers! Sorry.
