Bonus time

I got a letter, recorded delivery, at home yesterday confirming that I will be getting a £250 bonus [before tax] with my January wage packet on Monday, as a result of me achieving Very Good in my last appraisal. It will come in very handy, but I will have to budget very carefully over the next couple of onths as I only have 12 shifts at the moment for February which means that I will have a smaller than normal wage packet on March 15th!! I think I will have to put in for some extra shift during February!
