I was feeling really tired at work today and so I was really grouchy with everyone. I just wanted to come back home and crawl back into bed for another couple of hours. My mood wasn't helped by the fact that my boss rolled in 30 minutes late (he was drinking last night) in a casual vertically striped shirt (which wasn't slimming on him in any way) and combat trousers (it's what he thinks passes as acceptable dress for a security manager!!), and preceded to tell me lots of his anecdotes that he has already shared many MANY times before. The day really dragged it's feet and I could not wait for the shift to end.
Tonight, since coming home I have watched Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire, on BBC's iPlayer. It is a new sword and sorcery comedy, which started on BBC last night. Think Red Dwarf crossed with Conan. It wasn't brilliant, I wasn't hooked, but I think I will watch it again even if it is just for Matt Lucas' humour and, of course, Sean Maguire's body. He is a mighty fine looking man, who would have thought it all those years ago when he first appeared as a short-arsed eleven-year old in Grange Hill? I may be a fan of his body, but I'm certainly not a fan of his strange American accent. I know he has been working over in the States for a few years now, and good on him, but the accent sounded strange coming out of his mouth and was, frankly, a bit annoying.
