Not this time

After having to chase up the company to find out if I got to a second interview or not, I finally got a call today telling me that I wasn't sucessful. How infuriating is that? To keep me hanging on for over a week, especially when I was told I should be called on Monday!
The reasons I didn't get further being that, I didn't meet the required standard that they were looking for, oh, and they were worried about getting references from my previous employer. It's a no brainer really, you won't get one! I was sacked, remember?!?!
So maybe my sacking is going to interfere with my career after all! Bastards!

I've not been searching for jobs over the last week, as I thought I had a good chance with this one, I've just been looking at the 2 usual websites (Security Vacancies; & Totaljobs.com;), so I am going to have to pull my finger out now and get searching.
The final part of my wages (the pay for my suspended days) has gone into my account today, and I got my latest (and last) refund from HSF for my contact lenses yesterday, so I have only got my SIA partial refund to come (about £100) and then I have no more money to come in!!! Scary!
