Forgot to mention

I knew there was something else I meant to mention about my night out with Tim on Wednesday:
We were talking about Christmas and he has suggested that he might invite some friends around to his for Christmas, as this will be the first Christmas he won't be going to his mum's. So, he has provisionally invited me to join him and Richard for Christmas Day which I think is a wonderful idea. I will wait to see if the offer is still on the cards nearer to the time.
If I don't go to Tim's, I will almost certainly have to go to my sister Maxine's place. I normally work, but obviously I probably won't be this year, unless a miracle does happen and I get a reply for one of my many job applications.
If I don't work I would normally go to my other sister Lynn's place as she has 4 kids. This year unfortunately Lynn is going to Perth, Australia with her hubby and kids for Christmas, so that is not an option. I wish I was going with them as Australia is a dream destination for me, as regular readers will know. It's probably a blessing in disguise for me as I won't actually be able to afford to spend any money on presents for them, they normally get about £40 worth of presents each which is not even going to be achievable between them this year.
