I have finally heard back from my old job about my missing holiday pay. They said I had no holiday pay due to me as I had used all of my entitlement. I checked my wage slips for the year and found that I had 6 days left (all my records of my holiday were on the pc's at work, to which I obviously do not have access any more!). They have finally accepted that I am due 6 days money, but are not going to pay it to my account until the usual work payday which is 28th, AND I won't get my P45 until after that time! I have been unemployed since 17th October, so very nearly a whole month, and still they are messing me around!
I have also had to chase up the SIA for my 50% refund, due to having to get 2 licences. They had no record of my first request for the refund and so I had to reapply for it. Hopefully I will hear back from them quickly as I have been waiting about 3 months for that refund already!
At least I know that I have some money coming to help me out, which means that I will be okay to pay my bills until the New Year, just about with a bit of leeway on my rent.
I still have yet to hear from any of my other job applications. I have given up on Reliance who I have applied to twice and not heard a thing, so I think there are about 4 others to wait for.
