At Least I Am Consistent

I've just got back from the gym, and I am pleased to note that I have been to the gym at least three times every week since I joined (this week I've been on Tuesday, Wednesday, yesterday and today). However, I am not happy with the time that I spend there. Because I don't actually enjoy going I am finding it difficult to stay longer than an hour. I average between 45 - 60 minutes each time that I go, and I suppose that I should be pleased that I am going at all, but I should really be spending at least an hour there and really pushing myself.
At present my time in the gym is pretty routine:
I start with a 1km run, move on to do 3 sets of 12 reps on three separate weight machines, then on to either the rowing machine (for a 300m row - though today I did 500m), then back to do three more weight machines, then another run (however much I can manage). On two occasions so far, including today, I have added one more round of three weight machines and a go on the static bike (1 minute of riding with low resistance, then 30 seconds of high resistance, repeating 4 times).
Today, I also did some reps at home with my own dumbbells for about 20 minutes, so my arms were really aching by the end of the gym session.

Another thing I am disappointed about is the amount of time I am spending in the steam room and sauna. I really shouldn't be cruising them as much as I am, as that is not their intended purpose (though you could say the same about public toilets and cruising grounds, but I used to do them all the time!). Today I just intended to spend a few minutes in each. Unfortunately, the steam room had a gorgeous muscular guy in there and he piqued my interest. I gave up after 5 minutes and went to the sauna. While in there I saw the muscle guy come out of the steam room (I was sat by the glass door), have a shower and go back in to the steam room, which I now knew to be empty. As he re-entered he looked at me purposely three times. I took the hint and followed him in there. While I was in there I saw him playing with himself and so showed my interest. He was very sexy, though I could barely understand what he was saying. All he really wanted to do was look at my arse! I obliged and then left then someone else entered.
I had a shower and went back to the sauna where I had seen a sexy guy when I was in there. He was still there and I said hello, but no other conversation was forthcoming, though we did exchange glances a few times. He was of a more normal build that the other guy, though athletic and hairy in all the right places. I was smitten.
Over the next 20 minutes we both went from the sauna to the showers to the steam room in a repeating circle. I gave up when it began to get busier in each of the places and nothing intimate would have been possible. I was hoping that I would see him in the locker area while I was changing, but this didn't happen and I left feeling incredibly horny once more.

Tomorrow I will have a day off from going to the gym, as I will be in Comptons enjoying watching the next England match of the Six Nations in the company of lots of hunky gay men. Hopefully it will be as enjoyable as last year was, I'll try not to drink too much while I am there, as it is far too early for me to be drinking really. The match starts at 14:30, I'll be in the pub from about 14:00 to get a good place, and I am such a light-weight when it comes to afternoon drinking. We shall see how it goes.
