Trophy Wives

I got to sleep immediately when I returned home from work this morning, but unfortunately I woke up again at about 12:30 and only managed to doze until I got up at 14:00. I spent the rest of the afternoon in front of the television pretending that it wasn't a lovely sunny day outside! I saw a trailer for a new show coming to Living called Trophy Wives, which looks interesting. Why? I hear you ask: Lots of images of well build, sexy, handsome men in the changing room of a Canadian (ice) hockey team! It is a concept developed from the UK show Footballer's Wives which was amazingly fun and raunchy while it was running.
Called
MVP: The Secret Lives of Hockey Wives in its native Canada and simply MVP in the States, the title had to be changed upon landing in the UK as we do not use the term MVP for our sports stars over here (though plenty of people know the term). It features plenty of totty to keep me interested even if the show has already been cancelled after just one season. Lets just hope that it lives up to expectations and we get to see plenty of action in the locker room AND the bedrooms. The two guys that I have spotted who should be worth watching are: Dillon Casey and Peter Miller: I wonder, with all the close relationships and open hostility a sports team can foster, will there be any guy-on-guy action, or were they saving that for the (now highly unlikely) second series? If it doesn't happen we can always just fantasize! It's a shame that I appear to have missed the first episode, lets hope I can get it (them all) on line once I get my new laptop.
