Changed My Mind

It is my intention to say yes to more things from now on (sensible things that is), hence going to the pictures on a work night last Saturday.
It was in that vein that I accepted an invitation to meet up today with a guy I barely talked to last night while Tim and I were in G.A.Y. bar for 1 drink. Initially I thought that the guy was giving me evils, and was in the process of telling Tim this, when the guy beckoned me over to him and we chatted for a minute or so and ended up having a little snog. I misheard his name (so I found out this afternoon when he sent me a text) and even last night when I saw him I wasn't spectacularly attracted to him, so in the cold light of day today I chickened out and sent him a text back saying I was unexpectedly busy today and could we make it another day.
I really wasn't, and rarely am, in the mood for prearranged sex meet-ups, hence the reason why I don't use Gaydar or its ilk for anything other than voyeurism.

But, to carry on with my new "Say Yes" philosophy, when I received an email today from someone I didn't know (but who reads this blog), inviting me to go to the Union Cup rugby with him next week I immediately accepted.
It will be the first time that I will have ever met someone who reads the blog (who I didn't already know) and so his perspective on me will be interesting to say the least (not to mention scary). Though he can't think I'm that bad a person to have invited me in the first place!!!

Now all I need is someone to watch Eurovision with and I'm all set!
