Strictly Late

I finally managed to catch up on the rest of Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing today (having watched half of it before work yesterday). It was pretty uneventful really, I thought the standard of the previously better dancers had slipped somewhat with Ali and Ricky Whittle making some mistakes and not being as impressive as they have been in previous weeks, despite Ricky's impressive back flip.
The tap dance showcase was disappointing in my opinion and was over powered by the music. I like to be able to hear the taps in the dance otherwise, what is the point? And Amy Winehouse as a back-up singer for her precocious 13-year old god-daughter was hilarious and embarrassing at the same time.
Overall, I'm not sad that I missed the show live. I would have been very disappointed to have stayed in for it this week!
