While I was having a shower yesterday the hot water began to run out. I didn't think anything of it as I assumed that one of my flatmates had just had a shower (Jessica and Kevin were both home). Last night Penny and Kevin had another loud argument about something and this morning I found out what it was about:
I went to have a shower this morning and found that there was no hot water at all. When I went to investigate the control panel Penny came along and told me not to touch it as that was why Kevin had been shouting at her last night, he had accused her of messing with the settings and being the cause of the lack of hot water, but he hadn't actually fixed it! So I had to have a cold (and by cold, I mean very very cold) shower this morning. Not a good start to the day.
I am back to work tomorrow night, so hopefully the hot water will be sorted before I have to go to work, as I don't really want to have to have a shower there before starting my shift.
I am not looking forward to this set of nights anyway, on top of the fact that I hate nights as it is, the flat upstairs is still having noisy work done AND now there are also roadworks outside my window AND traffic is really heavy on the other side of the road (presumably because of more road works further down the road!). I doubt that I will be able to get much sleep this set of shifts!
