Sitting In Comfort (For a Change)

After spending the last 2 days stuck indoors, because of a combination of still feeling ill and the god-awful weather outside, I felt that i had to get out today All I managed though was a trip to Argos & Ryman to get a Christmas present and a new chair for my room. I managed to break my last office chair in my room ages ago and have been sitting on a storage box (with cushions) ever since. I cannot tell you how much better the chair is feeling!
It was a nightmare getting it home though. Although it wasn't particularly heavy, it was just that little bit too big to be held comfortably in my arms. Therefore I kept having to stop every 100 metres or so to readjust the way I was holding it. It didn't help that I also had a carrier bag which was swinging against my legs as I was walking. I was so glad to get home finally and be able to put it together (which was relatively simple, luckily).
I am now sitting in comfort and all I have to worry about now is disposing of the large cardboard box it came in (the recycling people won't take it away being so large, figure that one out), and getting rid of the wooden storage box, which is now falling apart due to my excessive weight bearing down on it for the last year or so! Along with either throwing away, or finding new homes for the junk sat inside it!
