No Change

Yesterday was an uneventful day, with my manager not actuallt doing much (hence the title "no change"). He went out drinking last night and got into a conflagration with, as he desribed, a "Paki" who allegedly tried to mug him. Speaking to the supervisor who took over from me tonight and last night, I found out that he had phone work and was verbally abusing some "Pakis," so I guess he was lucky to just have got some shallow cuts around one of his eyes.
Because of the beating he got, he didn't set his alarm this morning as he had expected to have a large swelling on his face. He didn't, so he came in 1 1/5 hours late! He also left at 14:30, saying that he was going to go to the doctor. I doubt very much that he does go though.

Back to me though, yesterday I woke with a slightly sore throat. This morning I woke up first at about 03:30 and I felt terrible, really warm but shiverring, so I put a sweat-top on and turned the fan heater on too. When I finally got up at 06:30 I felt even worse, my throat was really sore, probably due to the dry heat emitted by the heater. I managed to get to work and survived the day, I had to as the "boss" couldn't care less!
Now, I am off work for 12 days, which will be spent job hunting and probably applying for my security licence too, just in case.
