I Wish That They Would Just F**k Off!

Was woken early again this morning by the guys working on the road and drains outside. Guess what time it was, go on guess! I'll tell you what they were doing first and then you can tell me if it was appropriate at that time. They had a large lorry and were using a scoop to unload gravel and stuff to fill in the holes that they have been working in, so they initially had the lorry engine going, then the engine for the scoop, the scoop scraping against concrete surfaces and the side of the lorry, then a leveller / roller thing moving about and to top it off the scoop had a spotlight on it which was shining right at my bedroom window. After about 20 minutes I heard it all stop and was relieved, thinking that I could get back to sleep. But, no. The lorry reversed and then started again in a different position.
This was all at, wait for it! What time do you think it was? What time do council workers / contractors start work where you are? This was all at 05:30!

05:30!!!!!!!!

I was not amused as you can probably imagine. Luckily I managed to get back to sleep eventually, after they left sometime after 06:00, but it did mean that I didn't wake again until 10:30. Thus, I have only just got out of bed! Hopefully, the fact that they were filling the holes means that they are almost finished messing with my life.
