Who's On-Line Now?

My home town

I was just having a browse through Wikipedia (as I tend to do when I'm bored and on-line) and I thought I'd check some place names to see if they had entries. When I entered in the name of the village I grew up in I was pleasantly surprised to see it was there. I had checked before a while back and it hadn't been so this was a bit of a shock.
Chadwell St Mary in Essex, just north (and up the hill) from Tilbury in the borough of Thurrock is where I lived the first 18 years of my life. I loved living there, it always seemed so peaceful and safe. I couldn't live there now as it is too far from everywhere.
We had a three-bedroom house (there were 4 of us kids, 2 girls and 2 boys), and there was an alley out the back with loads of space to play and through which cars could never go too fast, and there was a farmer's field that backed onto the alley which we used to play in all summer long.
I miss the house we all lived in (until I was 11) and have a lot of fond memories, though we haven't kept in touch with any of the neighbours from that time.
