I just came across a trailer on Marvel.Com for the new animated Invincible Iron Man DVD which, apparently, is out in January. The artwork is fantastic so I just may HAVE to buy it. I've not been that impressed with animated comics over the last few years, and Iron Man isn't my fave character, but it just looks so stunning I can't resist! Check it out.
I am also loving what is going on in the Marvel Civil War at the moment. Spider-Man is rebelling and got the better of Iron Man, though I would have loved it if he managed to hurt him badly! I love the obscure characters that keep popping up like Thunderclap, (how many people remember his first appearance? Especially outside of the UK!) and others like Cybermancer and Digitek. I love Heroes For Hire (even Humbug), and cannot wait to see what is going to be happening with the splitting of the Avengers. Oh and Tigra, if you're listening, please do not betray Cap and the others, please. And Annihilation is great too, all my favourite cosmic characters in one place, if only the Imperial Guard were there too my life would be complete (well, not quite, but you get my drift!). Comics are fantastic at the moment, it is about time there was some sort of television magazine program devoted to the world of comics (anyone in tv production take note, do a survey and get one commissioned!!).
