True Blood

Most of the time television, despite the hundreds of channels available, is a pile of poo (please excuse the colloquialism). But, every now and again, you get a lot of programs on around the same time that you love. Now is one of those times. I love Defying Gravity, despite it being cancelled. I like Paradox. I'm addicted to Strictly Come Dancing, despite it not being as good as previous years. And now I have just discovered that True Blood, which I have wanted to see for ages, is being shown on Channel 4! Who knew?

I watched an episode this evening on 4 on Demand (on-and-off due to sharing my broadband with 5 flatmates) and I liked it. It may have helped that Ryan Kwanten performed a sex scene in it, but I like the idea of the show too. Vampires are always interesting. It is such a shame that the whole series cannot be viewed on 4oD though, and the adverts (before, during and after) are also a bore. I will try and keep up with the show and, if I continue to like it, will consider buying the box set (after checking if anyone I know has it to borrow first of all!), which is probably why 4oD aren't "storing" all the episodes to watch in the first place, lots of money to be made from DVD sales!!!
