Croatia:
Split: A gay German couple travelling through the town of Split were attacked by unidentified assailants, it was reported on Friday. This was the latest in a series of homophobic attacks on tourists along the Croatian Adriatic coast in recent months. The most serious incident was an attack on two British men when one suffered concussion and broken teeth and the other had part of his ear bitten off! A group of 6 Spanish women were also attacked for swimming naked and kissing on a public beach.

My Take: I think the tourist boards of Germany, Britain and Spain (at least) should get together and issue warnings to travellers, ALL travellers and maybe this would put people off of travelling there, thus affecting the countries income, maybe then the Croatian government would do something to curb these attacks. Other than that just get the gay community to not spend their substantial Pink Pound (or Pink Euro) in their bigoted country!

USA:
New York: Researchers at the Annals of Internal Medicine have reported that a substantial amount of men who have homosexual sex still consider themselves “straight”. 4% of men asked (at a clinic dealing with STD’s) said they were gay, while 91% described themselves as “straight.” The rest said that they were bisexual, “unsure,” or declined to answer. But, of those who consider themselves “straight” nearly 10% had had sex with a man, but no woman, in the last year!

Chicago, Illinois: Prosecutors have dropped charges against a man who said an airport security guard misunderstood him when she thought he said a sexual device was really a bomb. He had actually told the female guard at O’Hare International Airport that a small black object was a “pump” – as in a penis pump.
