Exit Wounds

**********SPOILER WARNING**********
********NO I REALLY MEAN IT********
*****DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW*****
*****DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU*****

I have just watched the final episode of this season of Torchwood, Exit Wounds.
WOW
That about sums it up!

What a phenomenal ending to a series that almost lost its way half way through. Brilliant writing, superb performances, just enough humour throughout the episode, and excellent suspense all the way through and the unexpected losses at the very end of the story. And as always the mood music enhanced the story subtly but perfectly.
Is Captain John the bad guy? Where is Gray? How do they stop the army of Weevils? More importantly how do they stop the nuclear power plant going into meltdown? How does Jack escape from being buried alive? Who dies? Who survives? Will the team continue?
All these questions and more are answered, (like, what is the name of the hot actor playing Gray? Lachlan Nieboer, that's who!), and some others are left to be answered in the next season? Who will be joining the team? Will they want to shag Jack too?

I was going to reveal some of the answers to the above questions, especially the "Who Dies?" question, but in reflection I don't think I will. The episode is too good to sum up by telling you the answers, you need to go on the journey for yourself, believe me it is worth it. This is the best episode of Torchwood yet, by a long shot. Watch it and have a tissue handy.
