Well, I really am glad to be home. I was due into work today to do some training this afternoon and covering for some others having training this morning. I was meant to be working from 08:00 to 17:00. I got a call, waking me, at 06:30 this morning asking if I could cover early as 2 people had called in sick. I agreed as it only meant going in an hour earlier than planned.
I still had to go on the course, which was rushed and taken by 4 people, none of whom could train a fish to swim in circles!
As I was now covering sickness, I had to stay until 19:00 aswell, so 4 hours more than I had anticipated for the same wage. Not a good day! At least I had my appraisal done, at last, which resulted in a "Very Good" as always and makes me eligable for a bonus in this months pay packet (if management do not dispute my marks! Fingers crossed!).
Comics tomorrow, yipee (though I haven't finished reading last weeks yet with all the Worldsafe stuff I've been doing!).
