I finished work at 7 yesterday morning and slept until about 3 in the afternoon when I got home. I really wanted to go out, even more so when I found out that I finally got an interview (more about that in another post). I asked Tim if he was about, but he had other plans, so I asked 3 other friends, only one was available, Craig.
When I was getting ready I noticed, or maybe imagined, that I have put on a bit of weight around my middle (the muffin-top area) and so didn't feel great about how I looked. I almost changed out of the tight t-shirt that I had on. Almost.
I met Craig in Rupert Street and then went on to Profile and then to the Village, I've not been in there for years. While we were in there a straight woman started talking to us and told me that I was so good looking that people would be too intimidated to talk to me, which I thought was hilarious. Craig was a bit put out, as he has confidence issues and is always telling me how people are attracted to him etc etc. He asked her if she thought the same about him and was even more put out when she said that he WAS approachable. We went on to Comptons before ending up in the Duke of Wellington, where I had a bit of a snog with a young guy.
What I really loved about my night was that, in almost every bar I saw someone else that I knew well enough to talk to, which is really unusual for me.
Craig went home after the Duke and I went on to Profile and, although I was there alone, had a good time wandering around talking to a few people, including a gorgeous straight guy who was there with his girlfriend and kept looking at me and smiling, and enjoying the music (also enjoying watching Ben Brown dancing in just his jockstrap!).
I then walked to Vauxhall (I was obviously drunk) and went to Chariots where I had some fun with several guys before heading home and getting in at 09:45!!!!!!!!!! I slept until about 4 and have just wasted the rest of today vegging out on the sofa with my headache and stubble rash.
