25 years today

Today, unfortunately, marks the 25th anniversary of the first case study of an unusual cluster of pneumonia cases among gay men which alerted the world to the threat of AIDS, it had formerly been known as GRID (Gay Related Immune Deficiency). Now an estimate 38.6 million people worldwide are believed to be living with AIDS. Lets all spare a thought for all those people today at least.
