Shitty Week

I'm not having a great week. I've had a bit of a cold recently and the annoying cough that came along with it is lingering a bit, I've had it all week. It's pissing me off so I can only imagine how it is annoying other people, especially my flatmate.
I've also developed a cold sore cluster on my lip since Thursday, just in time for the weekend that I booked off. So, no sex for me this week.
On top of that though, I worked out my finances and realised that I have just £3 left to last me until the first Friday in February! Not good, it meant that I was not able to go to watch the Steelers today (well, I could have watched, but not socialised afterwards, so there wasn't much point, especially with the cold sore as well).
Then, I worked on a presentation for my second interview that I have next Tuesday. I started it at work on Thursday and Friday and sent it home, via email, so that I could continue working on it. Unfortunately, my version of PowerPoint at home is different to the one at work, which (being a novice to PowerPoint) confused me for a bit. I finally finished it but my printer is now not working.

The thing that has made the week a REALLY bad one is that I got a text from my sister Lynn yesterday while I was at work, telling me that my uncle Barry's brain tumor is malignant. I was in shock for a few minutes. Both my sisters stayed with my uncle's (decades long) girlfriend Ann for a couple of days before finding this out, so at least she had some support there. I don't have a good feeling about his prospects.
For those that don't know, my dad died of a brain tumor when I was a kid, my mum died of ovarian cancer about 12 years ago and Barry and my dad's brother Peter died last year from leukemia, so it looks like there is a very good chance that I and my siblings are all genetically predetermined to develop cancer.

My interview is next Tuesday, so let's hope that next week is better.
