Once again work is stressing me out, even though I am on my days off. I am meant to be back to work tomorrow, Christmas Day, but have no way to get there. I told my manager when I was at work last week. I emailed him twice with my address and postcode. I also sent the same details to my Ops Manager. I've not heard a word back from either of them. After sending so many emails I don't feel that it is my job to chase them up further.
So, tomorrow I am going to get up at about 5:30 and be ready to leave at 6:00 if they don't turn up I may just get the day off (though I doubt I will be that lucky).
Last night I was woken at 02:00 by a text coming through on my phone, I then couldn't get back to sleep as I was stressing so much about it all. I think I eventually got back to sleep around 4:30.
This morning I didn't get up until midday and I've been in a foul mood ever since. I can't wait until this whole bloody Christmas shite is over and done with for another year. I remember last year, I said to my work colleagues, "If I am still working here next Christmas I am going to kill myself!" Obviously I've not done it ...... yet.

Awh, it sucks that you have to work on Christmas day. But I hope regardless, that you have a Merry Christmas
How can you not get there? Doesn't London have a Holiday transit schedule for holidays?
Hey Jeff,
On Christmas Day in the UK there is no public transport at all. On Boxing Day there is a reduced service and the buses don't start until 08:30, and yes the Tube workers went on strike for even more money, despite the fact that their starting wage is more than double the minimum wage, the greedy f*ckers!!
